Offered here is a metal film canister with the enclosed film reel - NO FILM. One side of the can's exterior is embossed: "SKAGGS - DRUG CENTER - AMARILLO." The back side of the can still has the original Skaggs "49 cents" price sticker. This appears to be sized for an 8mm or Super 8 size home movie. The can's lid measures just over 5 inches wide. It is just over 1/4 inch deep. The canister and reel are in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition, with only minor wear. There is a little "spider webbing" to the paint on the top of the can. There is no date on this, I would "GUESS" it was made circa 1940's to 1960's - give or take. In 1968 Skaggs Drug Stores merged with Albertsons Food Stores and became "Skaggs-Albertsons."
