Made in Japan for Kodak. This splicer works with Super 8 film as well as regular 8 mm and 16 mm. The box has normal shelf wear, but the unit inside is pristine in its original plastic sleeve.

The most popular system by far was the Kodak system. The Super 8 standard also allocates the border opposite the perforations for an oxide stripe upon which sound can be magnetically recorded. Appears to be in Excellent condition but is untested.
