Rare 2.75in Thornton Pickard Extra Rapid Time Shutter Wood Brass For Barrel Lens
This is a rather rare example of roller-bind shutter by Thornton Pickard. It works very differently from their usual single curtain design as it has two curtains moving in opposite directions to create faster exposures.

3.5in Thornton PIckard Patent Time Roller Wooden Shutter for Brass Barrel Lens
This one likely made during early 1890s. First off, as you can see it is missing the string, which you pull down to set the shutter spring. In the back, there’s also a wooden recess that is 4.75in around, so you could probably also use it in a lens with that size hood.
