Antique oil-burning photographic darkroom safelight, attributed to Kodak. This style was used in professional photo studios and newspaper darkrooms before electric safelights became standard. Designed to give controlled, low-intensity light so photographic paper and film could be handled and developed without exposure. Features: • Hinged reflector door • Frosted internal light chamber • Original oil burner • Ventilated chimney • Heavy steel construction • Original red factory paint with strong patina No restoration.
