This is a vintage Asahi Pentax Auto Bellows from the late 1960s, for taking photos of slides. The bellows are exceptionally clean and fully light-tight, with no cracks, dryness, or pinholes. I extended them slowly and checked them carefully, and everything feels supple and well-preserved. The focusing rail moves smoothly and solidly, and holds position without drift or play. Includes the original box (showing some age at the seams and corners, but still solid and fully functional), along with photographs of the original manual. This piece came from my father’s darkroom and has been very well cared for over the years.
